Well, you know that the Windows 10 can be configured by organizations to limit user access to certain settings and features. Sometimes you may upgrade your system at a time you were asked “who owns this PC?” so their possibilities and Unfortunately, it certain bugs and settings can incorrectly configure your own PC as being locked down by a missing organization, also it’s limited access to certain settings in your operating system.
If you are getting this type of issue, you’ll observe in several locations (mostly in the Settings app) that “Some settings are managed by your organization.” If you’re Windows 10 PC be in the right place only to you, let’s try to fix the “some settings are managed by your organization” issue.
There are many ways to fix out this issues but some Group Policy Editor that easy to found and fix out with handy ways. So first you’ll need to go to this utility with administrative rights. And then click the Start Menu and type gpedit.msc. Now you will see the top result that can describe the Local Group Policy Editor as shown in the screenshot below.
Windows 10 – Some Settings Are Managed By Your Organization
- Just Right-click on the msc results and select Run as Administrator.
- Now In the Group Policy Editor, On the left side of the window to navigate to Computer Configuration,> Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Data and Preview Builds.
- After That Select the Data and Preview Builds, you’ll see an option labeled Allow Telemetry on the right side of the window. Double-click it to change its options.
- At the top of the Allow Telemetry options window, click Enabled. Don’t freak out, privacy advocates.
This is a temporary change and we’ll soon turn Windows 10 telemetry back off. With Telemetry Enabled, click the drop-down box in the Options section and choose 3 – Full.
- Now Click OKto save your changes and close the window. Next, double-click Allow Telemetry in the Group Policy Editor again to bring the same configuration window back up.
- After that select Not Configured in its place of “Enabled.” Lastly, click OK to save the change and close the window. You can also now quit the Group Policy Editor.
Now get back to a location where you earlier come across the “Some settings are managed by your organization” message. Now you will see that the message is now gone and now you full access to our Windows 10 settings.
Note, on the other hand, that this fix is future for individually-owned user PCs. If you have a Windows 10 PC or license is owned by your company or organization (or was initially set up that way). There will be other settings which will continue to limit your access to certain functions and you shouldn’t change Group Policy settings without check with your IT administrator.
